A decadent gluten-free brownie made with a carefully balanced blend of ancient grains for smooth texture and rich chocolate flavor. Naturally sweetened with coconut sugar, this mix bakes into dense, fudgy brownies without grit, gums, or fillers.
Perfect for gluten-free baking that doesn’t taste gluten-free.
Ingredients:
Ancient grain gluten-free flour blend (organic amaranth, organic quinoa, organic teff, organic sorghum, organic buckwheat), organic coconut sugar, organic cacao powder, baking soda, fine sea salt.
Gluten-Free.
➕ YOU ADD
•2 large eggs
•½ cup melted butter or coconut oil
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•Optional: 1–2 tablespoons milk (if batter feels very thick)
•Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips or nuts
HOW TO PREPARE
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
Whisk eggs, melted butter or oil, and vanilla until smooth.
Add brownie mix and stir until fully incorporated.
Add milk only if needed for spreadable batter.
Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
Spread evenly into pan.
Bake for 25–32 minutes, until set but still fudgy in the center.
Cool completely before slicing.
VEGAN PREPARATION OPTION
To prepare these brownies vegan, make the following substitutions:
•Use Instead of Eggs
•2 flax eggs
(Mix 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed with 5 tablespoons water.
•Let sit 5–10 minutes until thick and gelled.)
Use Instead of Butter
•½ cup melted coconut oil
(or vegan butter)
Other:
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•Use dairy-free chocolate chips if adding mix-ins
•Prepare and bake as directed.
Vegan Brownie Baking Notes:
Batter will be slightly thicker than egg-based batter
Spread evenly in the pan before baking
Bake until edges are set and center is just slightly soft
Allow brownies to cool fully to set before slicing
